Akkar Trail Association owns the original content on this site — articles, photographs, maps, code, and brand assets — unless explicitly credited otherwise. Third-party content (species photos from iNaturalist, weather data from Wunderground, trail tracks from Wikiloc) remains the property of its respective owners.

Personal, non-commercial sharing of our content with attribution is welcome. For commercial reuse, republication, or derivative works, please get in touch first.

The trails, routes, and outdoor information on this site are published for educational and reference purposes. Mountain hiking, cycling, and outdoor activity carry inherent risks — weather changes, terrain hazards, wildlife encounters, and personal fitness all matter.

Live and historical weather readings are sourced from our network of Personal Weather Stations and presented "as is." Sensor faults, connectivity outages, and calibration drift can produce inaccurate values. Never use this data alone for safety-critical decisions; cross-reference with official meteorological services.

This site links to and embeds content from third-party services including but not limited to Wikiloc, iNaturalist, Wunderground, GoFundMe, FundaHope, Whish Money, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Your interactions with those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

Donations are processed by independent platforms (GoFundMe, FundaHope, Whish Money). Their fees, refund policies, and receipts are governed by their own terms. Akkar Trail Association receives the net amount after platform fees. Donations are non-refundable except where required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, Akkar Trail Association, its volunteers, and contributors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the information it contains.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic. Any dispute arising in connection with the site or its content is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of North Lebanon.
